Vera Ethel Fuller Jay Services for Vera Ethel Fuller Jay will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11:00 at Bethany Baptist Church, Whynot Community, with Reverend Marvin Cooper and Reverend Jimmy Garrard officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jay, 89, of Meridian died Monday, February 1, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Jay was born and reared in Mississippi. She was retired from Burnley Shirt Factory and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Eloise Butler and her husband Tommy Joe of Whynot,son, Grady Cleveland Jay, Jr. of Collinsville, daughter, Peggy Jay LeFevre and her husband Meurice of Meridian, daughter, Pamela Jay Davis of Meridian, grandsons, Ricky M. Butler, C. Darrell Butler, Brian C. Jay, Christopher J. Williams, Jonathan P. Davis, granddaughters, Candace J. Moffett, brothers, Billy Joe Fuller and his wife Shirley of Toomsuba, Charles Fuller and his wife Pat of Memphis, sister, Juanice Goodman and her husband, James of Cleveland, MS. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Grady C. Jay, Sr., parents, J. Herbert and Pearl Fuller, brothers, Everett Fuller, Ray Fuller and Jack Fuller and sister, Pat Fairchild. Pallbearers will be Brian Jay, Chris Williams, Ricky and Darrell Butler, Scott Jay, Tim Moffett, Kenny Neal, and Jimmy Goodman. Honorary pallbearers are Ben Dearman, Arthur Goodman, Les Nelson, and Robert Bufford. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5-8 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the Bethany Baptist Church, Whynot.
