A memorial service for Mrs. Veronica Jean Martin will be held at 12:30PM, Wednesday, April 09, 2025, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Crenshaw officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Veronica Jean, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at her residence. Veronica was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a big heart and enjoyed spending time with her family. Veronica loved being outdoors. You could always find her sitting on her porch or even gardening during her free time.

Veronica loved to travel the world. She often took cruises with her husband, Ward and a couple of her special and close friends.

Veronica had many loves in her life, but most importantly was her dog, Gussy. She loved Gussy so much and you could always find him right by her side wherever she went.

Veronica was a wonderful person. She was loved by so many friends and family and will be dearly missed.

Veronica Jean is survived by her two daughters, Vanessa Weir (Derek) and Christal Weir (Jason); grandchildren, Kiptin Weir, Payton Weir, Levi Weir, Bentley Weir, and Kash Weir; best friend and sister, Beverly Turk (Carl); brother, Joseph Oliver; niece, Jessica Smith (Michael); nephew, Ronald Turk (Kristy), and many great-nieces and nephews, as well as her closest friends.

Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her husband, Ward Martin; parents, Henry and Earnestine Oliver; brother, Richard Oliver; aunt, Norma Jean, and grandmother, Exa Kelly.

Visitation will be held from 11:30AM until 12:15PM, prior to Chapel services on Wednesday.
