Vicki Sue Castillo Services for Vicki Sue Castillo will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Randy Rich and Rodney Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Chunky Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Castillo, age 54, of Chunky, died Friday, January 24, 2014 at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of Hickory Baptist Church and a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge. Vicki was a longtime employee with Peavey Electronics and also worked at the Checker Board Restaurant, Best Buy, and Sams Club. Survivors include her husband, Bert V. Castillo of Chunky; son, Luke Castillo and wife, Ashley of Hickory; daughter, Lauren Castillo of Chunky; stepson Will and Ann Castillo of Meridian; grandchildren, Tyler Castillo ,Amos Castillo, and Sebastian Castillo; mother, Sue McMillian of Tupelo, MS; brothers, Greg Newell of Tupelo, MS, Keith Smith of Tupelo, MS, and Mark Newell of Meridian; sister, Amy King of Meridian; niece, Abbie Newell; nephew, Stephen Newell and several other nieces and nephews; special family friends, Donald Gressett and Faye Hagan; and granddogs, Sadie and Bear. She was preceded in death by her father, Luke Newell and wife, Brenda Newell. Pallbearers will be David Garvin, Dusty Garvin, Darren Garvin, Mylan Anderson, Jason Clark, and Stephen Newell.
