Victoria Lee Vincent Love Funeral services for Victoria Lee Vincent Love will be held Thursday, 4 June 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverends Damon Williams, Layman Ron Smith and Wallace Terry officiating. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Victoria Lee Vincent Love, 101 ½ years old, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on May 30th, 2015, in Gainesville, Florida. Victoria Lee Vincent Love was a charter member of Antioch Southern Methodist Church. She served the church as bookkeeper, secretary and treasurer for 50 years, and pianist for 57 years. She was born, raised, married and lived in Lauderdale County, MS for 94 years, after which she moved to Gainesville, FL to live with her son and daughter-in-law, and attended Grace Baptist Church of Gainesville, FL with them. Survivors include her son, Lee Vincent, and his wife Betty Sue of Gainesville, FL; daughter, Lenelle Vincent Akin of Collinsville, MS; step-daughter, Carolyn Love Conroy of Brandon, MS; two step-daughters-in-law, Evelyn Love of Florence, AL and Ruth Love of Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren David Akin, Kim Duncan, Rodney Vincent, Jeffrey Vincent, and Julia Doyle; numerous great and great great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, T. C. Vincent and his wife Coleene; special friend, Dot Pace; and a special cousin, Frances Lee Herrington, and special niece, Bonnie Stringfellow. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husbands Isaac Cecil Vincent and Charlie Dee Love; her six-year old son, Donald Wayne Vincent, and her grandson, US Marine PFC Donald Wayne Vincent, sister-in-law Eileen McGuire and son-in-law Harold Akin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Antioch Southern Methodist Church Building Fund, Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, or to a charity of choice. Pallbearers will be, Jerry Snowden, Frankie Herrington, Billy Williamson, Charles E. Smith, Gary Mayatt, Stan Hatcher, Ron Smith and Neil McKeithen. Honorary pallbearers are, Arnold Hodgins, Billy Wayne Ethridge, M. A. Copeland, Jimmy Woods, Jerry Davis, Paul Chappell, O. C. Barham, Murray McDaniel, Dan Herrington, Pastor Jim Riley, and Deacons of Grace Baptist Church of Gainesville, FL. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
