Vikki L. "Keevie" Gunter

Funeral services for Mrs. Vikki L. “Keevie” Gunter will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Reverend Kyle Naylor will officiate the service. Burial will be held at Meridian Memorial Park. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Gunter, age 71, of Meridian passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Vikki worked for 16 years as the branch manager for The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Marion, where she served as the assistant Sunday school director. Mrs. Vikki will be remembered a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was the matriarch of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert “Bobby” Gunter; one son, Chad Barnett (Shanna); stepsons, Bob Gunter (Karen) and Jon Gunter (Amzie) ;grandchildren, Kaylei and Kate Barnett, Makinley May, and Chase, Claire, Gretchen, Raina, and Ingrid Gunter; sisters, Lynda Sholar (Lacy), Valarie Hampton, and Vannessa Abler (Todd); nieces and nephews, Jessica Lenoir, Erin Sholar Pomerantz (Jimmy), Chelsey Harper Hunt (Michael), Andrew Sholar, Cole Abler, Jack Abler, and Hadley Hunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Alva “Jinx” Boswell and her nephews, Brock Sholar and Chad Harper.
