Viola Rae Henderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Henderson will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Followell officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Kemper County, MS.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Viola Henderson, age 86, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at her home.

Viola was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Melanie Henderson McQuaig and Tommy Henderson; grandchildren, Jessica McQuaig Rudd, Matthew Henderson (Vanessa), Megan Henderson, Grant Henderson (Rachel), Jace Henderson, Kyle Henderson (Cheyenne), and Carrie Meadows (Chad); six great-grandchildren with one more on the way; daughter-in-law Marsha Henderson; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years William "Parker" Henderson, two children, Jerry Lavon Henderson, and Steven Perry Henderson, two grandchildren, Alicia Henderson, and Hunter McQuaig.
