Virgie Hall Young Graveside services for Virgie Hall Young will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 1:00 at Evergreen Gardens Cemetery-28th Street, Gulfport, MS. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Young, 90, of Meridian died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Silver Leaf Manor where she had resided for the past six years. Prior to moving to Meridian, Mrs. Young had been a longtime resident of Gulfport, MS. Virgie has gone on to be with the Lord and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her son, Bruce Young and his wife Laura of Meridian; grandchildren, Jessica Young Campbell and her husband Kevin of Lebanon, TN, Sarah Young and Leanne Young, both of Meridian. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John Thomas Young and son, John Thomas Young, Jr. In lieu of flowers and gifts the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hope Village for Children, Meridian, MS.
