Virgil Michael "Mike" Kynerd

Graveside services for Mike Kynerd will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery with Bro. Donald Gentry officiating and Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kynerd, 72, of the Damascus community died, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at his home.

Mike worked for many years in the shipping department at Atlas Roofing. He spent many happy hours working on the family farm. He attended Arkadelphia Baptist Church.

Mike is survived by his wife, Patsy Dabbs Kynerd; son, John Kynerd and his wife, Lori; daughter, Sarah Cook; grandchildren, Jackson Cook, Kristin Kynerd, and Colton Kynerd; and sister, Jan Griffin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer D. and Wilma Chisolm Kynerd.

Pallbearers will be John Kynerd, Dave Miller, Rusty Kynerd, Curt Maye, Bobby Stokley, and Kenny Miles.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Center Hill Class of 1962.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 5:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
