Virgil D. Scarbrough Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 1:00 at Bucatunna Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarke,County, with Brother Derrick Simmons officiating. Mr. Scarbrough, 78, of Meridian, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his children, Michael Scarbrough of Meridian, Marlene Sullivan and her husband Dwight of Meridian, Sheila Singley and her husband Wayne of Clarke, County, and Randy Scarbrough of Meridian; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, J.T. Scarbrough of Meridian; sister, Zular Godwin of Clarke County; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Mae Scarbrough; one brother and three sisters.
