Virginia Daugherty Darnell Services and burial for Virginia Darnell will be held Friday, September 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at West Kemper Baptist Church, with Brother Gary Rivers officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Darnell, age 87, of DeKalb, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Survivors include her son Jim (Carol) Darnell of Clinton, MS; daughter Kay (Lee) Robertson of Vicksburg, MS; daughter Carol (Buddy) Fanning of DeKalb, MS; grandchildren, Jessica (Rob) Decker of Gainesville, FL; Amanda (Sergio) Luna of San Diego, CA; Chris Robertson of Clinton; Daniel (Louann) Robertson of Ridgeland; Stina Jacobs of Hattiesburg; Candace (Michael) Rose of Brandon, MS; Jennifer Hutchinson of Brandon, MS; Stephanie (Joey) Thomas of Brandon, MS; great grandchildren, Trent Knox; Olivia, Ella Kate, and Anderson Luna; Caitlyn and Kinley Robertson; Addison Rose; Gavin and Taitum Thomas; brother-in-law, Guy Darnell of DeKalb, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Thomas Edwin Darnell; brother, Harold Daugherty; and granddaughter, April Robertson.
