Virginia Hastings Harris

Graveside services for Virginia Harris will be held Monday, September 12, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with Dr. Gary Blair officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Harris, 91, of Meridian, passed away September 9 at Hill Hospital in York, Alabama.

Virginia was a member of Central Baptist Church for most of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Stapp and Marie Brand; grandchildren, Thomas Austin Dyer, Michelle Leigh Findley, and Virginia Hope Flowers; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Peggy Jean Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hal Harris; daughter, Barbara Ann Watt; grandson, James Edward Dyer and granddaughter, Catherine Faith Stapp; and five brothers.
