Graveside services for Virginia Majure McWilliams will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with Dr. Rhett G. Payne, III officiating with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McWilliams, age 83, of Meridian, died Friday, August 16, 2013 at Anderson Hospital. She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Meridian. Virginia devoted her life to her family and friends, and the love of her life for 65 years, Billy McWilliams. She is survived by her son, Lauren McWilliams of Meridian; nieces, Cheryl G. Rainey and husband, Ken of Meridian, and Hallie Vandiver and husband, Shelton of Meridian; daughter-in-law, Diane McWilliams of Meridian; grandsons, Delaney McWilliams of Colorado, and Lance McWilliams of Oxford, MS; great-grandchildren, Kayla McWilliams of Georgia, and Matthew McWilliams of Oxford, MS; longtime devoted friend, Ben Alexander of Meridian; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Majure; husband, Billy McWilliams, Sr.; son, Bill McWilliams, Jr.; and sister, Nelda Majure Houser.
