Walter Lee Caldwell

A memorial service for Walter Lee Caldwell will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 12:00 PM at Arkadelphia Baptist Church, with Brother Keith Lovett officiating, burial to follow. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Walter Lee Caldwell, age 73, of Bailey, MS, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020, at his residence.

Walter graduated from West Lauderdale High School in 1965. He was a business owner of a Mapping and Surveying company and he was also a Deacon at Arkadelphia Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Kevin Caldwell (Tammy), and Ken Caldwell; daughter, Kelli Bounds (Jas); grandchildren, Hunter Caldwell, Katherine Bounds, Emma Bounds, and Brandon Wilkes; sister, Cathy Downs-Tannery; sister-in-law, Cathy Covington Caldwell; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kay Cross Caldwell; parents, Reginald and Irene Caldwell; brothers, Charles and Jackie Caldwell; and sister-in-law, Zola Caldwell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Arkadelphia Baptist Church or the Gideons.

Pallbearers will be Danny Downs, Chris Downs, David Brown, Charlie Brown, Jim Ethridge, Hunter Caldwell, Harrell Pace, and Charlie Henderson.
