Walter Earl Sanders, Jr. "Butch"

Funeral services for Walter Earl Sanders, Jr. “Butch” will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Jack Giles officiating. Burial will be at Daleville Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Sanders, age 61, of Meridian, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Butch attended Daleville United Methodist Church and Church of the Way. He was a loving, caring brother with a big heart. Butch would go out of his way to help anyone he could; and he didn’t know how to say “NO”! He graduated from Kemper Academy in 1974 and went to work for his Uncle Red who taught him everything he knew about steel fabrication. Over the years he worked for several fabrication shops and was an excellent fitter/layout man! He and his laughter will be missed, but not forgotten by anyone who crossed his path.

Survivors include his brothers, Kirk Sanders (Vicki) of Southaven, MS, and Scott Sanders (Jeanie) of Daleville, MS; 9 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Jane Henderson Sanders; father, Walter Earl Sanders, Sr., and 2 great nephews, Kaden Blake Sanders, and Joseph Micah Redmond.

The family requests memorials be made to: Church of the Way, 7387 State Boulevard, Meridian, MS 39305.

Pallbearers will be: Kirk Sanders, Jr., Michael Myers, Kalen Sanders, Matt Tucker, Kameron Sanders, and Josh Hollingshead.
