Walter Bryant Null Funeral service for Walter Bryant Null will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Reid Whittington and Reverend Brandon Speak officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Null, 93, of Meridian passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Null was a World War II veteran, he served in the 116th Infantry Division with The United States Army. Mr. Null served in France, Belgium and Germany and he received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He was a long time contractor and carpenter in the Meridian area and was also a cattle farmer. Mr. Null was a member of the Lockhart Church of God. Survivors include his son, Ronnie Null and his wife, Gloria of Meridian; daughter, Sharon Young and her husband, Neil of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Bryan Null and his wife, Angie, Kevin Null and his wife, Brandy, Everett Young and his wife, Samantha; great-grandchildren, Taylor Hall, Mia Null, Megan Null, Ava Null, Adyan Null, Rory Young, and P.J. Young; and sister, Bernice Watkins of Kansas City, Missouri. Also his very devoted caregivers, Nora Haynes, Deloris Reed, Carolyn Walker and Ronnie Haney, Jr. The family wishes to thank Dr. Phillips and Anderson Regional Medical Center Emergency Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Alexander Null; parents, Ed and Onie Null; brother and sisters, Ruby Parker, Minnie Alexander, Blannie Rawson, Edna White, Mildred Burkhalter Hopkins, Mary Ida Mavro, Juanita Mabry, Deloris White, Quida Thomas and Ed Null. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
