Walter Allen Skinner

Graveside services for Walter A. Skinner will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Stonewall Cemetery with Pastor Frank Dotson Jr. officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Skinner, age 89, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Meridian Community Living Center.

He served in the United States Army 3rd Artillery during the Korean War, where he received a Bronze Star Service Metal along with other metals. He was a caring and loving man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all of his heart.

He is survived by his son, Timothy A. Skinner; daughter, Sandra G. Dotson and husband, Frank Dotson Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elouise Skinner; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Skinner; parents and siblings.
