Wanda Gene Hogan

Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda G. Hogan will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Bucatunna Baptist Church, with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Interment will follow at Bucatunna Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Wanda graduated from Vimville High School. She served as a volunteer at Rush Hospital for several years where she loved helping others. She retired from Civil Service at NAS Meridian, and after retirement she enjoyed camping with her husband. They would pull their camper for Gene to play in golf tournaments and Wanda would relax at the camper or the beach by reading a book. Wanda and her husband Gene were also very active with The Shriners. Wanda was long time member of Bucatunna Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wanda Davidson Hogan, 89, of Snell, MS passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center.

Wanda is survived by her son Mike Hogan and her daughter Robin Polk (Dale), grandchildren; Patrick Hogan, Sean Hogan, and Kaitlin Polk, great-grandchildren; Sydney Hogan and Cullie Hogan, sister; Joyce Jarman, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hogan, parents, Ray Davidson and Leola Davidson Robinson, brother Ronald Ray Davidson, and nephew Scotty Ray Davidson.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Hogan, Sean Hogan, Ray Davidson, Robby Jarman, Hunter Eldridge, and Todd Eldridge.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 - 1:45 PM at Bucatunna Baptist Church prior to funeral services.
