William "Bill" Gordon Sr. Graveside services for Bill Gordon will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Reverend Joe Anderson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Gordon, age 80, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Bill owned and operated Bill Gordon and Sons Barber Shop for over 58 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He never met a stranger and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Millie Gordon; sons, William Wayne Gordon Jr. and wife, Nellie, and Dennis Michael Gordon and wife, Debra; grandchildren, Cameron Gordon, Chad Thompson, and Wendy Watson; great grandchildren, J.J. King, Ansley Nutt, and Asher Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Vela Gordon; sister, Carnell Gordon Blass; brothers, Ray Gordon, Carlos Gordon, and Larry Gordon. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 4830 McWillie Circle, Jackson, MS 39206. There will be no public vistiation.
