William J. "Bill" Perry, Sr. Graveside service for William J. "Bill" Perry, Sr. will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with Reverend Mike Russell officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Perry, 94, of Meridian died on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Golden Living Center. He was a native of Providence, Rhode Island and worked with Dixie Highway Express and Fruge' Oil Company. Mr. Perry served in the United States Army and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter Carol Perry Ethridge and husband Ray of Meridian, son Bill Perry, Jr. and wife Janey of Mission, Texas, stepdaughter Glenda Luke and husband Leon of Wiseman, Arkansas, grandchildren Scott Shepperd and wife Tina of Starkville, Jill Ethridge Boren and husband Bill of Mandeville, Louisiana, five great-grandchildren Kyle Shepperd, Kelli Shepperd, Halle Boren, Hannah Boren and Harper Boren and mother of his children Mary S. Gaddis of Meridian. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Reid Perry. The family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice. Pallbearers will be Scott Shepperd, Kyle Shepperd, Bob Cunningham and Joe Swain.
