William "Bill" Otis Ward, Jr.

Mr. Ward, age 88, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away January 5, 2018 at Anderson’s hospital.
Mr. Ward began his career in the waterproofing industry with his brother and father, living in many locations over just a span of a few years. After his children came along he came back to Mississippi and became a barber. He was self-employed many years in the Meridian area. He loved to garden and enjoyed sharing it’s bounty with others.
He is survived by his children, Tjwanna Torgerson (Larry), Stan Ward (Bonnie), Lisa Huffaker (Jim); grandsons, Matt Torgerson (Stacey), Drew Torgerson, Joey Ward, Jake Ward (Heather), and Austin Huffaker; great-grandchildren; Irie Ikler, Orrin Torgerson, Brennon Ward, Hayden Ward and his brother, Bert Ward.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Otis Ward; grandson, Tyler Torgerson; brother, Charles Ward; sisters, Maurine Winfield, Jeanette Martin, and Annette Russell and several nieces and nephews.
