Graveside services for Mr. William Douglas Bracken will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery, with Dr. John Temple officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Doug Bracken, age 81, of Meridian, MS passed away at Kosciusko Veteran's Home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Doug was a lively and personable husband, father, and friend to so many throughout his life. He loved to fish, laugh, and enjoy quality time with his friends. He will be remembered and missed by the Mississippi Power Company, and numerous business associates in Meridian. He loved life and passed peacefully with family in his heart. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Oleta Bracken, sons; Martin Bracken and Jimmy Bracken (Maryruth), grandchildren; Mary Margaret Matthews (Christian), Beth Bracken, Alan Bracken, Katie Bracken, Ryan Bracken, Peyton Bracken and Dakota Bracken, brother; Roy David Bracken, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Roy and Sue Bracken, brother; Don Bracken, and grandson; Kaedence Bracken. Pallbearers will be Don Bracken Jr., Roger Taylor, Randy Tolbert, Chet Parker, David Fuller, Frances Hedden, Keith Swain, and Chip Johnson.
