William E. "Bill" Bruce, Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. William E. "Bill" Bruce, Jr.  will begin at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Bro. Dennis Robinson officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Bruce, 74, of Lauderdale, died Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

Bill graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BA in Business. He went on to work as a Personnel Manager with a career spanning over 38 years. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being outdoors with his family and friends any chance he got.

Mr. Bruce is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years, Judy Bruce; his children, Tammy Pace and Tonya Pace (Sean Jayroe); grandchildren, Cailen Pace, Jabie Murray, Eli Jayroe, and Lakelyn Garcia; his sister, Virginia Gurley; his niece, Michelle Sherwin (John), as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ouida Bruce.
