William E. Chaple III Services for William E. Chaple III will be held at a later date in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Chaple, 63, of Meridian died Saturday April 20, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Chaplewas a member of 1st Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his children Joe Aven of Gulf Shores, AL, Rick Aven (Chris) of Los Angeles, CA, Kellye Bowens (John) of Helena, AL, Adam Aven (Leslie) of Birmingham, AL, Pete Chaple (Mitsi) of Beaufort, SC, Andy Chaple (Ann) of Palm Bay, FL, Matthew Chaple (Kelly) of Gulf Breeze, FL and eleven grandchildren. Parents Earl and Betty Chaple of Hoover, AL. Sisters Jan and Karen. He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Chaple.
