William Theodore "Bill" Combs Services for William Theodore "Bill" Combs will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Charles Davis and Reverend Harold Scott officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Combs, 85, of Meridian passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Combs was retired as a maintenance supervisor after many years of service with Flintkote. He was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church and he loved going on construction mission trips. Mr. Combs was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of The American Legion. He enjoyed working on old cars, and he also enjoyed bowling, playing horseshoes and chess. Survivors include his wife, Jacquelyn Combs of Meridian; son, Victor E. Combs of Meridian; grandchildren, Chad Bancroft, Tereasa Le'Beouf and husband, Rip; great-grandchildren, Julian, Shane, and Elene Le'Beouf; brother, Don Combs of Kansas City, Kansas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Combs; son, Vincent E. Combs; parents,Edgar E. and Olive B. Combs; two brothers, Junior Combs and David Combs and a sister, Virginia Combs. Pallbearers will be Carroll McLemore, Jimmy Keenam, Tracy Clark, Bubba Knight, Joe Chambers, Ebb Fox, Tim Watkins and Earl Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Chambers Sunday School Class and Bill Jones.
