William Louie Culpepper Services for William Louie Culpepper will be held Saturday, November 27, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Causeyville Baptist Church, with Reverend Harold Scott and Reverend Ryan Moore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Culpepper, 84, of Causeyville, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at his residence. Survivors include his wife of sixty seven years, Genell Culpepper of Causeyville; son Larry Culpepper, Causeyville, daughters; Gay Gray and husband Stan of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Janet Wise and husband Damon of Collinsville; grandchildren, Kristi Gray McGee husband Rob of Tuscaloosa, AL, Stan Gray, Jr. and wife Tamsin of Quail Valley, CA, Tyler Turner of Collinsville, Trey Turner of Tuscaloosa, AL, Troy Turner of Collinsville, Trainor Wise of Collinsville and Daniel Culpepper of Causeyville; great grandchildren Mallory McGee and Mason McGee of Tuscaloosa, AL, Kael Gray and Cash Gray of Quail Valley, CA; brother Lynn Culpepper and wife Joann of Causeyville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Lessie Culpepper. Mr. Culpepper was a Marine and served in World War II and the Korean War, he was the personal driver of the Commandant of the Marine Corps. Mr. Culpepper was an insurance adjuster for Service Fire Insurance Company for many years and he worked with Johnson Enterprises, where he retired. He served as a deacon for many years at Causeyville Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial be made to Causeyville Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be Stan Gray, Sr., Damon Wise, Stan Gray, Jr., Tyler Turner, Trey Turner, Troy Turner, Daniel Culpepper and Rob McGee.
