Funeral services for Mr. William Lon “Jack” Douglas will begin at 1:30 pm Friday, November 16, 2018 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Bro. James Rickles officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Jack, 69, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Jack was an avid sportsman of all types and loved spending time with family most of all. He was affectionately known as “Pawpaw” by his three grandchildren. He was employed with his families painting business for most of his life and was the owner for over 20 year; He truly loved his work and cherished his regular customers.

Mr. Douglas is survived by his wife of 45 years, Robin Douglas; children, Donna Shea Douglas, Casey Reynolds (Fred), Jonathan Lon Douglas (Carmen). Grandchildren, Mackenzie Wilson, Hunter Lon Douglas, Harley Smyth. Sisters, Sharlotte Cornish and Judy Ryburn (Jack) as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents Lon and Kathleen Douglas as well a niece Priscilla Rollins.

Pallbearers will be Irby Lang, Bill Kimbrell, Adam White, Bill Cornish, Ricky Young, and Randolph Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phil Mosely, Fred Reynolds, David Gressett, Jimbo Smith, Randy Williams, Pat Jordon, Charlie Joiner, and Spike Watts.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 at the funeral home Thursday, November 15, 2018 and one hour prior to services on Friday, November 16, 2018.
