William W. "Bill" Ethridge Services for William W. "Bill" Ethridge will be held Friday, July 8, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Lamar Lifer and Reverend Rusty Walton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Ethridge, 83, of Meridian died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Anderson Hospital. He was owner and operator of Bill Ethridge Lincoln-Mercury dealership in Meridian for over forty years. Mr. Ethridge was a veteran of the army and a member and deacon at Calvary Baptist Church. He loved his wife, family and church. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Bobbie Lee Ethridge of Meridian, his children Billy Jack Ethridge and his wife Gayle, of Meridian, Tanya Tolbert and her husband Randy of Meridian, and Gayla Carpenter and her husband Dennis of Meridian, grandchildren Tara and husband Richie Hall, William Chad Ethridge, Chris Ethridge of Texas, Paige and Rusty Walton of Union, Kendal Carpenter and Taylor Carpenter, great-grandchildren Collin and Logan Ethridge, Carley and Will Ethridge, and Alex and Keith Gunn. He was preceded in death by brother's J. C. Ethridge and Hubert Ethridge, and sister's Lola Clay and Johnnie Ezelle. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Calvary Christian School, P. O. Box 4097, Meridian, MS 39307. Pallbearers will be W. T. Daniel, Tom Brocksmith, Bill Abbey, Jimmy Lee, Ricky Ezelle, Jim Ethridge, T.C. Glover, and Rod Ezelle. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Ethridge, William Chad Ethridge, Richie Hall, and Deacons of Calvary Baptist Church, Al Seal, Rick Roberson, Clyde Vick, James Hopkins and Dan Wright, Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
