William Harold Akin Funeral services for William Harold Akin will be held Tuesday, August 26, at 10:00 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Damon Williams and Reverend Wallace Terry officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Southern Methodist Church Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Akin, 68, of Collinsville, passed away Sunday, August 24, at Anderson's Hospital. Mr. Akin was a member of Antioch Southern Methodist Church. He was also a member of Longstreeet Masonic Lodge and was a long time volunteer with LEMA. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Lenelle Vincent Akin; son, David and his wife, Monica; daughter, Kim Duncan and her husband, Jason; granddaughters, Brooklee Akin, Amberlee Akin, and Tori Duncan; brother, Richard Akin and his wife, Doris of Monticello, AK; mother-in-law, Victoria Vincent Love, of Gainesville, FL; and brother-in-law, Lee Vincent and his wife, Betty Sue, of Gainesville, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Lee and Pearl Holder Akin; his father-in-law, Cecil Vincent.
