William O. "Bill" Huey, Jr. Services for William O. "Bill" Huey, Jr. will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverends Tommy Espey and Jack Giles officiating. Burial will be in Hamrick Cemetery, Collinsville. Mr. Huey, 54, of Collinsville, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a loving member and deacon of Pine Grove Church in the Martin Community. Bill worked as a signal maintainer for KCS Railroad. He served as a volunteer fireman with the Collinsville Fire Department and enjoyed bee keeping. Survivors include his wife, Susan Huey of Collinsville; daughters, Jennifer Everett and her husband Blake of Collinsville, Erin Nicholson and her husband Jamie of Collinsville, Bethany Benson and her husband John Mark of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Cole and Wesley Everett, Christopher and Laurel Nicholson; mother, Bobbie Huey McElroy and her husband Chuck of Meridian; brothers Melton Huey and his wife Melinda of Manassas, VA, Steve Huey and his wife Terri of Brookhaven, MS; nieces, Meredith and Madelyn Huey, Emily Phillips, Belinda Hoffer and Brandi Watson; nephew, Ben Huey and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, W.O. Huey, Sr. Pallbearers will be Alan Cross, Joe Giles, Wade Wood, Joey Rodgers, Tony Herrington, and Derwin Thrash.
