William Jerald Pearson Services for William Jerald Person will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 at 1:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Pearson, 81, of Hickory died Monday, November 5, 2012 at his residence. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Pearson retired form Cluis Newell Service Station after 41 years as a mechanic. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Martha Pearson of Hickory; daughters, Debbie Pearson of Meridian, Gail Pierce and her husband William of Newton, MS; grandchildren, Dusty Pearson, Lee Pearson, Jeremy Pearson, John Michael Pearson, Sam Pierce, Magan Pierce and Mandy; great-grandchildren, Kaylie and Kalon Pearson; brothers, Jim Pearson and his wife Darlene of San Antonia, TX, Bob Pearson and his wife Diane of Whynot, MS; sisters, Bonnie White and her husband Leroy of Newton, MS, Rita Nell Mason of Philadelphia, MS, Della Kay Bymun and her husband John of Meridian; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons, Jerry Pearson and Rusty Pearson. Pallbearers will be William Pierce, Sam Pierce, Austin Lindley, Gary Joyner, Bobby Addy, John Michael Pearson, and Lee Pearson, and Tim Lindley. Honorary pallbearer will be Richard Harris.
