Private family services will be held at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home for Mr. William Robertson. Burial will be held at the Mississippi Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Robertson, age 82, of Meridian passed away on March 19, 2020.

Mr. Robertson was a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the United States Army, with thirty years of service, including two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. He was also a member of the Hamasa Shriners in Meridian. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sue Robertson; children, Stacy Robertson Malone (Steve) of Columbus and Susan Robertson Gill (Wayne) of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Stephanie Corey, Samantha Gill, Jake Gill, Dalton Malone, Reagan Malone, Eric Gill, and Paige Tumlin; 9 great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
