Lamar Scarborough Services for Lamar "Mooney" Scarborough will be held Tuesday June 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverends Jack Giles and Jason Gross officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Scarborough passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at MS State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. Mr. Scarborough was a 1950 graduate of Collinsville High School where he played basketball and football. Mr. Scarborough was in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Suqualena. Before and after retirement he enjoyed taking care of his livestock and going to auctions. After 19 years at Dickey Clay he worked for Delco Remy for 15 years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Quincie; a son Rodney Scarborough and his wife, Teresa and a daughter, Debra Dean and her husband, Charlie; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a brother, Lloyd "Pee Wee" Scarborough. Mr. Scarborough is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Pallbearers will be Hagen Scarborough, Ryan Bennett, Tyler Skelton, Aaron Scarborough, Joe Dean and Mike Smith.
