William "Earl" Stanton Services for William "Earl" Stanton will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 1:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Ed Flaskamp officiating. Burial will be in Longcreek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Stanton, 80, of Meridian, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a Veteran of WWII, and a past member of the Longcreek Fire Department. Survivors include his daughters, Rose Singley of Meridian, Dawn Stanton of Meridian, Lisa Stanton of Meridian; granddaughter, Star Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Haley Wilson; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Dale Harris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Griffin Stanton; brother, James E. Stanton, Sr.; sister, Winnie Mae Norris; parents, Joseph William and Sally Lee Stanton. Pallbearers will be Jimmy George, Jerry Carney, Jr., David Carney, Dale Harris, Curtis Wilson and Josh George.
