W.J. "Dub" Rigdon Funeral services for W.J. "Dub" Rigdon will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Aaron Parker and Reverend Benjamin Laird officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Rigdon, age 86, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a faithful member and deacon of Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from Lauderdale County as the Road Foreman after serving for over 40 years. Survivors include his daughters, Susan Teletha Rigdon and Connie Rigdon Suttles; son-in-law, Mark Suttles; grandsons, Brady and Cohen Suttles; and sister-in-laws, Louise Clearman and Frances Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Johnson Rigdon; parents, Arnold and Lee Rigdon; brothers, Amos Rigdon, Otis Rigdon, and Billy Ray Rigdon; and sister, Etoy Buffington. Pallbearers will be Charles Clearman, Curtis Clearman, Dennis Rigdon, Donnie Rigdon, Wayne Rigdon, Mike Buffington, Mark Suttles, and Edward Strait.
