Willie "Bill" Ray King

Funeral services for Willie R. “Bill” King will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Damon Rose officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. King, age 77, of Meridian passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Willie was an ordained Deacon at Church of God of Prophecy and retired from Nabisco Brands. He was a veteran of the 186th Air National Guard.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Jane King; children, Barry King (Barbara) of Louisville, Tennessee, Kerri Porter (Randy) of Newton, Mississippi, and Patti Wallace of Brandon, Mississippi; grandchildren, Justin and Rebekah King, Jonathan and Jessica Porter, and Nicholas and Aiden Wallace; twin brother, Walter King (Patricia); brothers, Earl King (Ruby) and Alfred King (Barbara); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George William and Willer Louise King; sister, Gladys Booker; and brothers, Alvin King and Roy King.
