Graveside services for Mrs. Willie Jewel Parkinson will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Nebo Cemetery with Reverends Chuck Overby and A.M. Mansfield officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Parkinson, 92, of Meridian, died Sunday March 21, 2010 at Queen City Nursing Center. She is survived by her sisters, Wyvette Overby, and her husband, Charlie, of Meridian, Norma Johnson, and her husband, Ray, of Meridian, Johnnie Holloman, of Okolona, MS, brother, Ted Rigdon, and his wife, Ruthie of Meridian, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Parkinson, parents, Reverend John and Clara Rigdon, Sr. brothers, James Elmo Rigdon, John A. Rigdon, Jr., Paul R. Rigdon, Sr., and sisters, Juanita Chisolm and Bonnie Seales. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
