Willie Merle Reynolds Services for Willie Merle Reynolds will be held Friday July 30, 2010 at 10:00a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Mrs. Reynolds, 82, of Meridian, died Tuesday, July 27th at her residence. She was a retired employee of Sears Roebuck & Company and was employed with Sears for 25 years. She was a proud member of Briarwood Baptist Church and she enjoyed being a member of The Singing Saints. Her passion in life was cooking for all her family and friends. She had six grandchildren; Ty Reynolds of The Woodlands, Texas, Ryan Reynolds and his wife Paige and great grandson Ray of Boerne, Texas, Brittany Holte and her husband Steve of Spring, Texas, Michael Johnson and his wife Jill and great grandchildren Ethan and Andrew of Meridian, and Randall Johnson and his wife Jessica and great grandchildren Cooper and Anna of Meridian. Mrs. Reynolds has two brothers; C.E. Butler of Atlanta, Georgia, Tommy Joe Butler and his wife Eloise of Whynot, one sister Ruth Loper and her husband Bobby of Gulfport. Survivors include her son, Jimmy Reynolds and his wife Elaine of The Woodlands, Texas, daughter Dianne Johnson and her husband Larry of Meridian, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband T.R. Reynolds, brothers Elbert and Bobby Ray Butler, sisters, Earline Mott and Dixie Latimer, and her parents Charlie and Essie Butler. Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Randall Johnson, Ty Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds, Dr. Ronald Clark, Darrell Butler, and Curtis Barnacastle. The family requests that memorials be made to Briarwood Baptist Church or The American Cancer Society. She is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
