Funeral services for Wilma Benthall will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Frank Harmon and Reverend Richie Davis officiating.  Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.

Mrs. Benthall, 79, of Lauderdale, passed away Saturday, June 11, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Wilma was a member of First Baptist Church of Lauderdale.  She was also a member of the Shooting Stars and Patchwork Square Dancing clubs, The Eastern Star and Saints Alive.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Benthall and his wife, Jessica; daughter, Regina Cox and her husband, Tim; grandchildren, Amber Johnson, Rex Benthall, Anna Barrett Benthall, Emily Benthall, and Ashton Cox; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Wayne “Pete” Benthall, Sr.; son, Donald Benthall; parents, Bill and Velma White; best friend and sister, Louise Harmon; and brothers, Curtis White and Howard White.

The family requests memorials be made to Anderson Regional Cancer Center Benevolence Fund.

Pallbearers will be Gary Harmon, Billy White, Tim Cox, Greg Stevens, David Pritchett, and Larry Ward.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 12, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
