Winfred H. Shirley Graveside services for Winfred H. Shirley will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Marvin Cooper officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Mr. Shirley, 80, of the Whynot Community died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at his residence. He retired in 1987 after working for 35 years with Smith and Pollmans Bakery. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Billy Wayne Shirley, and his wife, Samantha, of the Whynot Community, Gary Shirley, and his wife, Becky, of Hendersonville, TN, five grandchildren and twelve great grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Pearl Jones Shirley, parents, Lamar and Essie Shirley, and step daughter, Debra Beeman Gray, brothers, Odis Shirley and Edward Shirley.
