Winifred Dallas Davis Services for Winifred D. Davis will be held Friday, May 9, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Enterprise United Methodist Church with Reverend Charles Waddell officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Davis, 88, of Enterprise, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Davis was a graduate of House High School, East Central Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi. She taught Home Economics for thirty years at Enterprise High School. She held membership in the Clarke County Education Association and the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce, where she served on the Board of Directors. She sponsored the Future Homemakers of American for thirty years at Enterprise High School. Through the years, she was an active community volunteer serving on the Enterprise Public Library Board, the Enterprise Federated Woman's Club, serving as President, and was an active member of the Enterprise United Methodist Church since 1949. She is survived by her three daughters, Charlotte D. McKee of Meridian, Kathy D. Fisher (Phil) of Clinton, Theresa D. Dollar (Craig) of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Kenny McKee (Christy), Kyle McKee (Terrica), Brian Fisher (Mimmie), Dana Fisher, Jessica Dollar Coulter (Chris), and Callie Dollar; great-grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Fisher and Hasten Fisher. She is also survived by five siblings, Maurine Sims, Paul Dallas, Pauline Chadwell, Jo Hicks and Edwin Dallas. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, L. J. Davis; her parents, Fred and Maudie Dallas; brother, Del Dallas, and sister, Imogene Rittenburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Enterprise United Methodist Church or to the L. J. Davis Scholarship Fund at Meridian Community College Foundation. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Enterprise United Methodist Church.
