Winston C. "W.C." Starnes Services for Winston C. "W.C." Starnes will be held Friday November 9, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Dan Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Starnes, 99 of Meridian, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at his residence. Survivors include his wife of 76 years, Bertha Ivey Starnes of Bailey; children, Patricia Nelson and her husband Jim of Bailey, Bill Starnes and his wife Wallie of Meridian, Robert L. Starnes and his wife Carolyn of Russell, Charles Starnes and his wife Karen of Marion; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jonathan Starnes; and sister, Janie Starnes. Family requests memorials be made to The Gideons, church of choice or charity of choice.
