Zachary "Zach" Thomas Shelton of Meridian, Mississippi, formerly of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed from this life on August 23, 2026, at the age of 41.
Zach was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Shelton, mother, Sharon Shelton and sister, Jennifer Shelton. He is survived by uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. James "Butch" Boren of Scottsdale, Arizona, Danny Shelton of Seal Beach, California and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Koonce of Blytheville, Arkansas. Zach also leaves behind many cousins and special friends that will truly miss him.
Zach was a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and worked at MIDD in Meridian, Mississippi. Although he had several disabilities, Zach refused to allow it to define or limit him. Instead, he chose to live a full and joyful life.
Zach was very active with his parents in various organizations and charities supporting individuals with disabilities, including Special Olympics and Rainbow Connection. He enjoyed meeting and making new friends wherever he went. Zach's character was a true testament to his faith in God and love for fellowship. He relished listening to BB King and quizzing those he knew about all things Disney, especially anything related to Mickey Mouse.
Zach's legacy reminds us how God can work His wonders and prevail for His glory.
The Family will hold a private service at the Episcopal Church of the Mediator in Meridian, Mississippi.
