Zelma "Sue" Lee Crenshaw Memorial services for Zelma "Sue" Crenshaw will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Lost Gap Methodist Church, with Reverend Mitchell McDonald and Reverend Joe Reynolds officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Crenshaw, age 83, of the Lost Gap Community, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center. She spent her younger years in the Lost Gap Community. After attending Meridian Junior College, she and her husband lived in Texas for sometime before moving to Lafayette, Louisiana where she raised her children. After coming full circle, she and her husband settled in the Lost Gap Community in her old home place where she enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers. Survivors include her sons, Gary Crenshaw of Harwood, Maryland, and Ralph Crenshaw of Millersville, Maryland; granddaughters, Sandra and Megane Crenshaw of Maryland; sister, Ruth Pokroy of Smithville, Virginia; sister-in-law, Bonnie Fairchild of Meridian; numerous nieces and nephews; and special long-time companion, Earl (Bud) Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Crenshaw; daughter Faye Goetzman; parents, Edward Lamar and Molly Blackmon Fairchild; sisters, Lois F. Eakes, Bernice Barham, Fanny Pope, Laura Creamer, Thelma Speed, and Nannie Mae Fairchild; brothers, Chestine Fairchild, Charlie Fairchild, and Lamar J. Fairchild. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Lost Gap Methodist Church, 10509 Cow Creek Road, Meridian, MS 39307.
