Zelma Trammell

Funeral services for Mrs. Zelma Trammell will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Dr. Marcus Finch officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Trammell, 95, of Lauderdale, died February 6, 2024, at North Pointe Health and Rehab in Meridian.

Zelma loved caring for her home and family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was lovingly called “Mawmaw.” She was a professional porch sitter and will be missed by all who knew her. She was an active member of First Baptist Church Lauderdale as long as her health allowed.

Mrs. Zelma is survived by her children, Ronnie Trammell (Judy), Terry Trammell (Suzanne), Tim Trammell, and Brenda Feld (Jerry). 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great-grandchildren; Her siblings, Sue Kieffer (Jim) and Floyd Hall, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Trammell is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Trammell; her parents, John Wesley Hall, Jr. and Lula Hall; stepmother, Bertha Hall; and siblings, Beatrice Boling and J.W. Hall, III.

The Trammell family would like to express special thanks to the staff of North Pointe Health and Rehab, for their exceptional care and compassion over Mrs. Zelma’s last eight years.
