Monroe Lee (Bo) Johnson

Services for Monroe Lee (Bo) Johnson will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:30 am at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverends Wayne Hemingway and Mark Williams officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Philadelphia.

Mr. Johnson, 86, of Meridian passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at his home.

Bo served in the Korean War in the U S Army in 1952. He served 42 years in the Army National Guard. He also retired from Mississippi Power with 35 years of service.

Bo is survived by his wife, Neva Jane Johnson, daughter, Terri Lynn (TJ) Pippin (Bill), son, Gary Ken Johnson, (Michelle), grandchildren, Brittany Pippin, Paul Pippin, Reid Johnson, Erin Johnson, Cade Johnson and a special little friend, Olivia Hayes. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Izola Johnson and brothers, Rodger Johnson, Herman Johnson and Wallace Johnson

Pallbearers will be Harold Cannon, Kinsey Smith, Jay Ethridge, John David Johnson,Mike Hayes, Roger Johnson, Billy Wayne Johnson, Jimmy Johnson and Jimmy Coleman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Matthews, James Murphy, Prentis Copeland, L. D. Clark, J. W. Espey, Mike Bateman, David Williams, Dave Woods, Buddy Rainer, and Wayne Jackson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
