William Royce Kimbrell, Jr. Services for William Royce Kimbrell, Jr. will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. John Temple officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Kimbrell, 82, of Meridian, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at his residence. He was the owner of Kimbrell Ruffer Lumber Company. Mr. Kimbrell was past President of the Meridian Exchange Club and also served as a District Director. He was also past President of Mid South Building Material Dealers Association. Mr. Royce was an avid model train collector. He was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Bobbye Watt Kimbrell of Meridian; son, Bill Kimbrell and wife Kaye of Meridian; daughter, Debra Nance of Meridian; grandchildren, Nicole Dickerson and husband Casey, Allen Winham and William Kimbrell and wife Jessica; great-grandchildren, Hannah Eubanks, Colby Winham, Alex Dubose, Peyton Kimbrell, Avery Kimbrell, McKinley Winham, Canon Winham and Conner Dickerson; great-great-grandchildren, Cohen Kimbrell. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Royce Kimbrell, Sr. and Glynn Copeland Kimbrell and infant daughter, Brenda Cecile Kimbrell. The family requests memorials be made to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be William Kimbrell, Allen Winham, Alex Dubose, Colby Winham, Joe Griffin and Irvin Martin.
