Elmer Frank "Sonny" Poteet A memorial service for Elmer Frank "Sonny" Poteet will be held on Thursday, October 9, at 6:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Poteet, 67, of Meridian passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Poteet, worked at Roadway for thirty-five years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and had many friends. Survivors include his wife of thirty-six years, Deborah; daughter, Christa White; grandsons, Charles Tyler White and William Frank White; his mother, Mamie Odell Simpson and a sister, Martha Gordon.
