Charles Alan Tibbetts

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Alan Tibbetts will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Union Baptist Church, 159 County Road 514, Meridian, Mississippi with Dr. Marcus Finch, Rev. Jay Nelson, and Rev. Justin Keene officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Charles Alan Tibbetts, age 54, of Quitman passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2022.

Mr. Tibbetts recently retired from the United States Air Force and the Department of Defense. He was the air traffic manager at Key Field in Meridian. Mr. Tibbetts was a devoted husband, father, and "Pop-Pop." He served as a deacon and in numerous other capacities at Union Baptist Church.

Alan is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kimberly Balaski Tibbetts; his children, Hannah Tibbetts Keene (Justin) and Seth Tibbetts (Kristen); his grandchildren, Eleanor and Mabel Keene, Emma and Nathan Tibbetts; his parents, Charles Tibbetts, Jr. (Dot) and Judy Trammell (Ronnie); his precious mother-in-law, Ramona Balaski; his grandmother, Genell Tibbetts; and his siblings, Kim Hawker (Robert), Brent Tibbetts, Kari Moore (Russ), Shanna Barnett (Chad), and Chad Tibbetts (Dixie).

Mr. Tibbetts was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Tibbetts, Sr., Leo Lockhart, and Jeanette Harper; and his father-in-law, Sonny Balaski.

Pall bearers will be Stacy Rogers, Randy Robinson, Scott White, Clay McLemore, John Lofton, and Ryan McLemore. Honorary pall bearers will be Johnny Johnson, Everett Webster, Glenn Prudhomme, Brock Shirley, Cole Walker, Wes Gilbert, Rob Riley, Wayne Henson, and Jim Wilson.

Memorial contributions may be shared with Union Baptist Church Children's Equipment Fund.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 10 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
