Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Leroy “Tim” Anderson will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022 at GracePointe Church in Meridian, with the Reverends Randall Sims, Lane Busbee, Chuck Overby, and Keith Lovett officiating. Interment rites will be held at Hamrick Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Anderson, age 64, of Collinsville passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at his residence.
Tim was a kind-hearted, genuine man, who will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He worked for Magnolia Steel for twenty-eight years and attended GracePointe Church of Meridian.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Shelah Carol Smith Anderson; children, Lewis Sim Anderson (Emily), Ashley Alyss Loper (Shannon), Sara Elizabeth Pellegrin, and George Bryant Benton; grandchildren, Shelby Anderson, Karley Anderson, Carter Pinkerton, Briar Anderson, Mia Priego, Gavin Priego, Kennedy Loper (Shannon), Denita Anderson, Brees Pellegrin, and Reagan Benton; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Alexander and Ansley Alexander; siblings, Terk Anderson (Marie), Danita Anderson Duett (Kenny), and Ralph Terry Anderson (Teresa); and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Leroy and Edna Frances Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Mike Snider, Doyle Rayner, Keith Lovett, Bob Killen, Kent Joyner, Wayne Hedgepeth, Shannon Loper, and Sim Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryant Benton, Kenny Duett, the members of the Queen City Bow Club, Mr. Anderson’s friends and coworkers, who were so good to him, at Magnolia Steel, especially Chris Crowe, Katy Coleman, Debbie Gibson, Bobby Gibson, Mavis McElroy, Charles “Chuck” Dube, and the late Michael “Rat” Ratcliff.
Mrs. Shelah Anderson would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the churches and prayer warriors who constantly stood in the gap for Tim, especially his dear friend and personal prayer warrior, Sister Faye Benton, who consistently prayed for him.
