Wallace M. Miller

Funeral services for Mr. Wallace Miller will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Reverend Mike McKee and Brother Austin Nolan will officiate the service. Burial will be held at Clay Memorial Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Miller, 80, of Cuba, Alabama passed away on September 30, 2019 at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Miller started his career as a farmer and retired as a District Sales Manager of Thermogas Company of York, Alabama. He was a faithful member and deacon emeritus of Cuba Baptist Church, having been ordained in 1975. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he deeply loved. Mr. Miller was also a mentor and caregiver to other children who needed his affection. He had a servant’s heart. Mr. Miller loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Mrs. Linda Miller; children, Joey (Gina) Miller and Karen (Ron) Nolan; four grandsons, Austin (Hope) Nolan, Dylan (Anna) Nolan, Cody (Tara) Miller, and Ethan Miller; great-grandchildren, Easton Miller, Wyatt Miller, Marley Nolan, and McKaylin Nolan; three brothers, Bud (Bobbie Sue) Miller, Roger (Lou) Miller, and Bruce (Kelly) Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dailey and Vida Miller of Kennett, MO; one sister, Shelma Henderson; brothers, Leon Miller, John Miller, Jerry Miller, and Marty Miller; brother-in-law, Don Buck; one nephew, Jeffery Miller; and one niece, Marilyn Miller Pritchett.

The family requests memorials be made to the Gideons International, care of Cuba Baptist Church, P.O. Box 65, Cuba, AL 36907.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Miller’s grandsons and friends of the family. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men’s Sunday School Class of Cuba Baptist Church.
